Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Client Advisory:Work closely with clients, providing expert tax and business advisory services.
  • Financial Compliance & Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, and business activity statements (BAS) across various industries.
  • Cloud-Based Accounting Solutions: Utilise leading cloud-based platforms for streamlined and efficient client service.
  • Accounting Software Expertise: Work with a range of accounting systems, including Xero, MYOB, Phoenix, Reckon, and QuickBooks.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Support junior accountants by providing mentoring and technical guidance.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an accounting role, with exposure to business advisory and taxation.
  • Strong technical expertise in accounting standards, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of clients, providing high-level financial solutions.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive, hands-on problem solver with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Xero, QuickBooks Online, Reckon, MYOB, and Xero Practice Manager & FYI Docs (or willingness to learn).
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents (including New Zealand Citizens).
